Review and enter loan information into Encompass to ensure accuracy and compliance for loan closing. Prepare all documents including preliminary HUD’s for closing. Communicate with attorney through entire closing process. Review and approve all HUD’s Prepare all wires for closing. Receive and review all documentation from settlement agent for closed loans to ensure all documents are received. Balance all HUD’s Complete GL accounts and Journal Voucher sheets for Finance. Disburse all funds from closing into proper GL accounts. Load all in-house mortgages in the OSI loan system. Order first set of coupons for in-house mortgages. Perform initial escrow analysis for all in-house mortgages. Evaluate all Freddie Mac loans through Freddie Mac Selling System. Prepare all notes for funding on sold loans. Register all sold loans on MERS system. Compile Freddie Mac funding breakdown sheets for Reconciliation Specialist. Prepare FTI report for all income loans. Stack, copy and ship all sold loans to investors. Prepare copy file for in house storage and send to filing. Copy and ship all sold loans final docs to each investor. Send all copy final docs for filing. Correct audit errors received from each investor. Prepare audit files requested by Freddie Mac. Compile end of the month HUD’s and rate sheets for Management Review end-of-the-month report. Produce and deliver closing packages. Post Close Review. Notify settlement agents of needed information and documents before the funding can be completed. Respond to e-mails, phone calls, faxes, and in-person inquiries and requests from Settlement Agents and internal staff. Ensure conditions from underwriting are cleared, review AT closing and PTF (prior to funding) conditions prior to submission of closing packages Obtain required documentation for the Loan Processor to close/fund loans. Provide closing documents to approved settlement agents. Send appropriate wires to ensure they fund properly; post close files. Meet closing deadlines and provide exemplary service to external and internal members. Apply re-draws of documents upon rate lock expiration or prior to end of the month.
High School diploma; some college preferred. Previous experience in field related to real estate lending such as real estate sales, administration in Real Estate Company or mortgage lending company preferable. Customer service oriented personality with high tolerance levels. Courteous, tactful and diplomatic. Must have a knowledge of business math concepts Commitment to excellence.
